Are you a law firm?

No. CADRE is a platform, not a law firm, and it does not give legal advice or take sides. It administers the process under its institutional rules and stays neutral, which is exactly what makes the award hold.

What if the other side refuses to participate?

Signing the clause is consent to the process. The law allows both parties fifteen days to appoint an arbitrator together; if they don’t, one is appointed for them and the matter proceeds. Non-participation doesn’t stall it.

Can the other side simply go to court afterwards?

They have ninety days to challenge the award, but the court does not re-open the dispute. It reviews only whether the process was followed and the arbitrator was qualified. If the process holds, the challenge is dismissed.

What does it cost if a dispute never happens?

Nothing. Adding the clause to your contracts is free. A case fee applies only if a dispute is actually filed. The fee is fixed by the nature and value of the matter, and known before you file.

We already have lawyers on panel. Does this replace them?

No. Your counsel can represent you on CADRE exactly as they would in court. What CADRE replaces is the queue, the travel and the adjournments, not your lawyers.

THE CADRE CLAUSE

Any dispute or claim arising out of or in relation to this Agreement/Purchase Order/Invoice, shall be referred to and resolved by online arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed under the institutional rules of CADRE ODR, (https://www.cadreodr.com). The seat of arbitration shall be <<as agreed>> and the courts of <<as agreed>> shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any matters related to the arbitration.
